Where to stay

Mexico offers a variety of great hotels and to chose from im listing three I recommend and have stayed at in the past

Affordable (where im staying)

Hotel B Urban Xaman by Fontán Reforma

I have stayed here many times, and you can't beat the price, clean, excellent service, and close to all my favorite sites.

Great Value Historic

Hotel Bellas Artes

One of my favorite hotels. It feels like im back in the 50th (la época de oro de México)

Expensive and Modern

Hilton Mexico City Reforma

This place has two really good restaurants, and it's where I use my Hilton points when I can.

The Hotels listed above are just suggestions.  I have experienced and put you within walking distance of the event location

La Alameda Central is a prime location that offers a great balance of everything CDMX has to offer. You’ll be within walking distance of museums, theaters, El Zócalo, and fantastic dining options. Additionally, nearby areas such as Roma Norte and La Condesa are popular choices for visitors, boasting excellent hotels and a wide variety of activities and attractions. and La Condesa, featuring great hotels and plenty to do and see.

There are only two schedualed events

On Friday, October 10th, in the Morning, we will have a trip to Xochimilco to get ready for the evening event

Xochimilco

It is a tradition to celebrate one's birthday. And it's been on my bucket list. Xochimilco, a borough of Mexico City, is renowned for its canals and "floating gardens" called chinampas, remnants of the pre-Hispanic era. These artificial islands, constructed by the Aztecs, allowed for agriculture on the shallow lake, and the area is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will gather around 10 am to board at 11 am, enjoying live music and local food while experiencing the unique cultural and historical significance of Xochimilco.  (in other words, getting drunk)

Dinner Party

TBC once you confirm your attending
